Hi, thanks for trying out Gimme Shelter, my first map. It is a big arena (waaaay bigger than I had planned) designed for network play, with a couple small rooms, ledges, pillars, two not so secret doors (one in each side room) and bad guys. Since it is my first map and I was running out of patience, the textures aren't aligned perfectly, but no major bugs that I have seen. Two or more people should be fun, but I think the more the merrier. Also, due to its size, probably ceiling height, it is much slower on lesser machines. We played on four Power PC 7100/66 and it was fine. I should have named it Gimme RAM!

Inspirational maps include Arena and Waldo World Arena (of course) and especially Pillars Unto You (but not nearly as minimal!), also, playing it the other day reminded me just a little of the "field" in Baseball. Other inspirations include a thesis research project which wasn't working very well for me when I started the map.

It was made using Pfhorte, a very cool program, but I cant remember what version (something like 1.0d23). Feel free to modify in anyway and if you think you have made it better, send it to me, I would love to play it. Also, let me know what you think.

Thanks Bungie!
